Zimbabwe Power Company is buying plumbing materials for Hwange Power Station, delivered within seven days on internally generated funds. The title says PVC pipes, but most of the 23 lines are copper capillary fittings: 30 15mm female straight couplings, 30 15mm male angle valves, 15 15mm elbows, 15 15mm female elbows, 15 22mm male straight couplings, 10 22mm elbows, 10 15mm male straight couplings and four 22mm copper pipes. The larger items are a 100-litre pressure geyser complete with tray, a 15mm geyser regulator, a safety valve, a drain cork, two vacuum breakers, a 400kPa brass Cobra pressure control valve, two 20mm brass Cobra non-return valves, five 20mm Redtop gate valves, a brass shower trap, an emergency shower and eyewash station, and three suspended wall sinks with benches in two different sizes.
