Bindura RDC wants construction materials for Manhenga Primary in three lots — 35 000 bricks, 136 IBR sheets, timber and roofing in lot 1, paint in lot 2, joinery and structure in lot 3. Bids close 29 September 2026 at 10:00 CAT.
Bindura Rural District Council is buying the materials to build at Manhenga Primary School, split across three lots. Lot 1 is the roof and structure: 136 IBR sheets of 0.4mm x 5.6m, 24 ridges of 2400mm, 170 lengths of timber 114, 100 of timber 76, 92 of timber 228, 50 asbestos fascia boards, 140 25kg bags of rhinoset, 600 M10 bolts and nuts, 70 packets of safe top screws, 70kg of roofing nails, 60kg of 4-inch and 24kg of 5-inch nails, 16kg of tying wire, 4kg of clout nails and 20 litres of gloss paint. Lot 2 is decoration: 30 20-litre tins of acrylic water-based paint, 20 three-inch brushes, 16 roller brushes and 14 four-inch brushes. Lot 3 is the largest: 35 000 standard common bricks, 60 rolls of brickforce 230 and two of 115, 44 16mm deformed bars, 72 pairs of air vents, 18 DH2 window frames, 14 button doors, six 230 door frames, six PDC 230 and one DPC 115, 40 litres of termite poison, 100 metres of polythene, 40 rolls of builder's tape and further timber. Delivery is to 465 Manhenga, Bindura, over one year, funded from a regular agency fund. It is run as competitive bidding with 90-day bid validity.
