Makonde District Hospital is buying plumbing materials for maintenance work. The list runs to 17 lines and is specified in detail. The bulk of it is PVC: 12 40mm bends, 12 40mm external flush rubber connectors, a 6m length of 40mm water pipe, 2 50mm gate valves and 2 500ml tins of high-pressure solvent cement. Sanitaryware covers 3 ordinary ceramic toilet pans and 6 ceramic pedestals. The rest is hardware and tools: 36 8mm fixation bolts, 20 veranda bolts and nuts, masonry drill bits in 6, 8, 10 and 12mm (2 of each), 2 9-inch masonry cutting discs, 10 tubes of M Seal, 4 300ml silicone sealants and 4 15mm copper female-to-male couplings.
