REMOTE DESKTOP LICENSE
Zimbabwe Posts wants a remote desktop licence with 50 client access licences for Windows Server, delivered to Harare Main Post. Bids close 29 September 2026 at 15:00 CAT.
ZimPost is buying remote desktop licensing: 50 client access licences to go with Windows Server. The notice is not consistent about the version. Its description says Windows Server 2022, while the schedule line reads 2002 — a year in which no such product existed — so the version needs confirming before quoting. It is also unclear whether the purchase is RDS CALs alone or the server licence as well: the description says 'remote desktop server with 50cals' while the title and line item say 'remote desktop license'. Whether the CALs are per-user or per-device is not stated either, and the two are licensed differently. It runs under the competitive bidding method with a 3-day delivery period. The full tender document was not published where we can read it, so download it from the source before quoting.
