City of Bulawayo is buying a full materials list for the rehabilitation of Entumbane Hall on a request for quotation, funded from a foreign-assisted grant account.
The joinery and steelwork is 14 doors in total: three exterior flush doors at 2030 x 810 x 45mm, six double doors at 2015 x 1610mm with three-lever mortice locks, three single steel door frames with doors, one single steel door and one double steel door frame with fan light at 2600 x 2800mm — plus 15 spare mortice locks.
The ceiling and partition work is 65 Nu-tech boards at 3m x 1220 x 6mm, 180 branderings at 6m x 38 x 38mm, 55 cover strips, 15 cornices and 2 lengths of 3m Trafford asbestos tile, with nails, drywall screws and round-head nails by weight.
The glazing is 20-odd panes of 5mm clear glass cut to 15 different sizes, 100kg of glazing putty, 25 litres of turpentine, four putty knives and four diamond glass cutters. Consumables and PPE finish the list: welding rods, cutting discs, 200 M8 x 50mm bolt sets, four table tops, wood glue, gloss enamel, steel primer, nylon gloves and safety goggles.
Delivery is to Khami Road main stores within 7 days, with quotations valid for 30 days.
