Zimbabwe Power Company wants three RENK high lift bearings re-metalled to ISO 4381 white metal and machined to 110 H7, at Hwange. Bids close 18 September 2026 at 17:00 CAT.
Specialist bearing repair: three pairs of RENK ERZLB locating and ERZLQ non-locating white-metal bearing shells, size 11-110, re-metalled to the RENK Type E bearing manual and to a supplied sample. The method is prescribed in detail. Strip the existing white metal without damaging or distorting the steel backing; inspect the backing for cracks, corrosion and distortion first; re-line with RENKmetal therm 89 tin-based white metal or an approved equivalent to ISO 4381 or ASTM B23; achieve complete metallurgical bonding with no cracks, porosity, inclusions or debonding; then finish-machine the journal bore to 110 H7, that is 110.000 to 110.035 mm. This is work for a shop with white-metal lining and precision machining capability, and one that can demonstrate the bond quality. The delivery period is 15 days.
