Replacing cast iron pipe and fittings
The Grain Marketing Board wants PVC and copper drainage fittings to replace cast iron pipework at Aspindale — 110mm and 50mm waste fittings, pan connectors, vent valves and copper reducers. Bids close 29 September 2026 at 11:00 CAT.
A drainage replacement materials order for Aspindale. The 110mm items are 4 PVC pipes, 8 inspection eye tee sockets, 6 tapered reducers down to 50mm, 8 centre-reduced tee sockets to 50mm, 8 flexible pan connectors and 6 vent valves. The 50mm items are 20 inspection eye tee sockets and 20 inspection eye bends. On the copper side there are 12 centre-reduced tee sockets at 20mm to 15mm and 12 reducers at 20mm to 15mm. The existing pipework is cast iron and the replacement materials are PVC and copper, so expect adaptors at the junctions. Delivery is to Aspindale within 7 days.
