The City of Mutare is buying electrical distribution and street lighting materials. The largest lines are 10 000 metres of 25mm² hard drawn aluminium conductor and 1 000 metres of 16mm² two-core SWA armoured cable. On structures it wants 200 8-metre poles with arms and 100 12-metre poles with arms, plus 200 D-irons, 200 shackles, 200 16mm ferrules, 150 7/12 stay wires, 70 PG clamps, 50 5/8 stay plates and 20 stay rods. Lighting runs to 500 units each of 135W LED bulbs, 8.5W LED bulbs, 400W LED fittings and 36W LED bulbs. Sundries are 800 M12 x 200mm bolts and nuts, 500 insulation tapes, 300 joining kits and 10 meter boxes. Delivery is to City of Mutare Central Stores within 90 days, funded from internally generated funds. It is run as competitive bidding with 30-day bid validity.
