ZETDC wants a three-year framework for testing and non-destructive testing of lifting gear across six lots — Transmission East and West plus the Harare, Eastern, Northern and Southern regions. Bids close 8 October 2026 at 10:00 CAT.
The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company is setting up a framework agreement for testing and non-destructive testing of lifting gear, drawn on through call-off contracts. The work is split into six lots by area: Transmission East, Transmission West, and the Harare, Eastern, Northern and Southern regions. No inventory of lifting gear, unit counts or testing frequencies is published for any lot. The framework runs three years, funded from internally generated funds. It is run as competitive bidding with 90-day bid validity. Bidders are expected to be registered in testing and inspection services.
