TILES FOR TERMINUS TOILETS
Bubi Rural District Council wants tiling materials for terminus toilets — 70m² wall tiles, 50m² floor tiles, 30 bags of tile cement, grout, edging and spacers — within 7 days. Bids close 17 September 2026 at 16:00 CAT.
A complete tiling package for the toilets at a Bubi terminus: 70 square metres of wall tiles and 50 square metres of floor tiles, with everything needed to lay them. The fixing materials are 30 bags of tile cement at 20kg, 10 units of 5kg grout, 10 litres of bonding liquid, 6 packs of 3mm spacers and 30 plastic edging strips at 2.5m. Two things about how the council has structured this are worth noting. Delivery is a separate line, priced only by suppliers outside Bulawayo — so a Bulawayo supplier competes without a transport line, and everyone else quotes theirs openly. VAT is also its own line. The gap is tile specification. No size, colour, finish or slip rating is given for either the wall or floor tiles, and for a public toilet floor the slip rating genuinely matters.
