Water and sewerage connection materials for the City of Mutare, delivered to 13/14 Newcastle Road, itemised across 172 lines. The couplings: ductile iron VJ couplings complete with rubber gaskets and stainless steel bolts and nuts at 150mm, 230mm, 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 760mm, 850mm and 900mm; plus VJ couplings given by pressure class and range — PN25 at 450mm, 400mm and 300mm, and PN16 at 250mm, 200mm, 150mm and 450mm. The cast iron joints run from 50mm to 450mm, with the largest quantities at 75mm (5 000), 100mm (3 000) and 150mm (2 000). The galvanised fittings — barrel nipples, tees, plugs and elbows — run from 15mm to 150mm, concentrated at 15mm and 20mm where the quantities reach 6 000 apiece. • Two 150mm PN16 VJ coupling lines are given with different ranges (150-170 and 159-182), and two 300mm PN25 lines with different ranges, so read the ranges carefully rather than treating them as duplicates.
• One 450mm PN16 line has its range left blank.
• The cast iron joint lines give no pressure rating or standard.
• The quantities are very large at the small sizes — 6 000 each of 20mm nipples and elbows — so stock and lead time matter.
• Mutare has three companion pipe tenders, and these fittings presumably serve them.
