Chegutu District Hospital wants 1 388m of 2.1m clearview perimeter fencing with anti-climb spikes installed, plus a heavy duty sliding gate and a butterfly pedestrian gate, over 60 days. Bids close 29 September 2026 at 09:32 CAT.
Chegutu District Hospital is replacing its entire perimeter fence, and the notice is one of the better specified works packages on this board. The preliminaries line covers site setup and the careful deconstruction and safe removal of the existing old fence along the whole 1 388-metre perimeter. The main line is supply, delivery and installation of a high clearview fencing system: 2.1 metre high medium security clearview panels with integrated anti-climb shark tooth spikes along the top edge, including all line posts, corner posts and tamper-proof security fasteners cast into concrete foundations or base plated where applicable, over 1 388 metres. Two gates go with it. The main entrance is a heavy duty sliding gate at 2.1 metres high to match the fence, complete with ground tracks, stop posts, roller bearings and secure mechanisms. The pedestrian gate is a small butterfly type with a double swing mechanism, 1.2 metres wide by 2.1 metres high, with heavy duty hinges, drop bolts and a secure locking frame. Work is at Chegutu District Hospital over 60 days, funded from the GoZ Treasury regular budget allocation.
