Zimbabwe Gender Commission wants one 24-port UPoE switch delivered to head office but no make, model or specification is published. Bids close 7 September 2026 at 10:00 CAT.

A single 24-port UPoE network switch for the Zimbabwe Gender Commission, delivered to head office. The delivery period is recorded as 1 year, which is long for one item. It runs under the Competitive Bidding Method, funded from the GoZ Treasury regular budget allocation, quotations valid 30 days. The full tender document was not available to us — download the RFQ from the source before quoting, because the port count and PoE type are the only specifications given.

Low effort to bid.

Written from the published notice — the full tender document was not available to us. Download it from the source before bidding: eligibility rules, fees and specifications may only appear there.

• No make, model, managed or unmanaged status, uplink configuration or PoE power budget is given — only "24 port UPoE".
• UPoE is a Cisco term for its higher-power PoE implementation, so the notice may be pointing at a specific vendor without saying so — confirm whether equivalents from other manufacturers qualify.
• The one-year delivery period against a 30-day bid validity is worth confirming.
• Run under the Competitive Bidding Method rather than an RFQ, which is a heavy process for a single switch.
