Nyanga Rural District Council is buying plumbing materials on a request for quotation, and the description carries the whole list even though the item schedule is a single line. The sanitaryware is close-coupled toilet sets, basins with Vaal basin bolts, shower roses and arms, and taps: 15mm sink mixer wall type, 15mm basin mixer, 20mm pillar tub mixer, 15mm stop cocks, 15mm garden taps and a 20mm ball cock. The copper work is 15mm and 22mm pipe in 6m lengths with compression fittings — bends, tees, female couplings and iron male adaptors — plus flexible connectors. The drainage is 110mm sewer pipe at 6m with pan connectors, 90-degree bends with inspection eyes, tee junctions and a vent valve, 50mm PVC waste pipe and bends, 40mm and 32mm rubber traps and a 32mm basin waste outlet. Consumables round it off: PC15 cement, thread tape, 500ml solvent cement, clear and black silicone, sash putty, steel washers and 75mm verandah bolts. One 200-litre Sunshine solar geyser is the largest single item. Delivery is to Nyanga within 7 days, with quotations valid for 30 days.
