• Proof of registration with the Insurance and Pension Commission (IPEC)
• Proof of membership of the Insurance Brokers Association of Zimbabwe (IBAZ)
• PRAZ registration certificate of the appropriate category
• NSSA compliance certificate
• Valid tax clearance certificate (ITF 263)
• CR5, CR6 and CR14 forms
• A copy of the company profile
• At least three traceable references for the provision of insurance services

• Attendance at the compulsory pre-bidding meeting and site visit at Siakobvu Growth Point - a site visit certificate must be submitted with the bid

• The pre-bidding meeting and site visit are compulsory and the certificate forms part of the bid, so a broker who does not travel to Siakobvu cannot bid - and Siakobvu is deep in the Kariba district.
• A priced bill of quantities is required, but no schedule of the vehicles, plant or buildings to be covered is published, so the exposure cannot be rated from the notice.
• The term is three years, so premiums have to be held or indexed across that period.
• IPEC registration and IBAZ membership are both required, which narrows this to established brokers.
