The plant: a double drum vibratory roller, a single drum roller with a removable square pad foot shell kit, a pneumatic tyre roller, a bulldozer, a mini excavator, a forklift, a towable aerial boom lift and a road marking machine. The delivery period is 1 year, funded from internally generated funds, and quotations must stay valid 90 days. It runs under the Competitive Bidding Method. • This is a very large capital purchase — 15 machines across trucks and yellow plant — and not one line carries an engine power, capacity, operating weight or reach specification beyond the configuration names.
• No indication is given of whether the lines can be bid separately, which matters greatly since few suppliers carry both trucks and earthmoving plant.
• No warranty, spares holding, operator training or after-sales service requirement is stated on a purchase of this scale.
• The bulldozer, excavator and rollers carry no size class at all.
