The armoured cable runs across 16mm² in 4, 3 and 2 core (20 000m in total), 10mm² 4-core (8 000m), 6mm² 4-core (8 000m), 2.5mm² in 4, 3 and 2 core (20 000m), 1.5mm² 2-core and 19-core (5 000m) and 0.5mm² 12-core (12 800m).
The single core and flex lines cover 10mm², 6mm², 2.5mm² and 1.5mm² PVC in red, black, blue and earth, plus flat twin flex with and without earth in 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² — tens of thousands of metres more.
The aluminium lines are 2 000m of 25mm² Fig 8 Airdec and 20 000m of bare aluminium conductor at 25mm².
The accessories are cable jointing kits: 2 000 of No. 0, 1 000 each of No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3, 100 of No. 4 and 50 of No. 5.
Bid security is published as 300 domestic and 700 international, and bid validity is 90 days. The delivery period is 3 years.
Delivery is to Central Stores, 2 Coventry Road, Workington, Harare, funded from the council's internal budget.
