Manyame Rural District Council is buying workshop oils and lubricants in volume. The main lines are 1 680 litres of 15W40 diesel engine oil (Super 600 or Universal), 1 260 litres of hydraulic oil TQH 20/68 or L-HM46, 840 litres of 80W90 gear oil and 420 litres of 5W40 petrol engine oil. Also in it: 420 litres of premium engine coolant, 300 litres of high quality engine cleaner, 210 litres each of power steering oil, DOT4 brake fluid, battery water and battery acid, 100 litres of TQD rust remover in spray cans, and 200kg each of multi-purpose and high temperature lubricating grease. Delivery is to Manyame RDC, Beatrice, over one year, funded from a regular agency fund. It is run as competitive bidding with 90-day bid validity.
