Norton Town Council is buying a mixed fleet of brand new vehicles. The requirement is 4 five-seater passenger vehicles, 1 caged security truck, 1 single cab truck, 1 3.5 tonne dropside truck and 1 flatbed wrecker — 8 vehicles across five very different types. The commercial conditions are unusually firm. Prices are to be quoted in USD, and prices within the NSPL are to be used for evaluation. No price adjustment above the quoted figure will be accepted. The notice states that only bidders able to deliver should quote, and that there will be a penalty of 15% of contract value for those who quote and fail to deliver. Both ZiG and USD banking details must be provided, and the bill of quantities and the bid amount must agree. Delivery is to 208 Galloway Road, Twinlakes, Norton within 21 days.
