Hwange Local Board wants a flanged electromagnetic waste water flow meter supplied and fitted on a 160mm gravity sewer — DN150/160, 316L electrodes, IP67 minimum, 4–20mA and Modbus, factory calibrated — labour and tools included. Bids close 7 September 2026 at 16:00 CAT.
Supply and fixing of one flanged digital waste water flow meter on a 160mm diameter sewer pipe for Hwange Local Board, with the supplier providing labour, materials and tools. The specification is the fullest on the board. An electromagnetic meter working on Faraday's law, installed in a full-bore section of gravity sewer. Nominal pipe diameter DN160, meter size DN150 or DN160 subject to manufacturer's sizes. Liner in hard or soft rubber, PTFE or equivalent wastewater-resistant material. Electrodes in 316L stainless or equivalent. Carbon or stainless steel body, coated for a sewer environment. Accuracy typically ±0.5% of reading or better. Flow range about 0.1–10 m/s, normal operation 0.5–5 m/s. Minimum conductivity 5–20 µS/cm. Protection at least IP67, IP68 preferred for chambers. Power 24 VDC or 85–265 VAC. Outputs 4–20mA, pulse or frequency and RS485/Modbus. Local display of flow rate and total volume, with data logging recommended. Temperature 0–60°C, pressure rating PN10/PN16, flanged to suit the existing pipe, in a straight full-flow section with adequate straight lengths. Factory calibrated with a calibration certificate. Delivery is within 5 days. Download the RFQ from the source before quoting.
