Hwange Rural District Council is buying accommodation for its tollgate widening project, under ERRP funding. The main item is three prefabricated cabins of approximately 6.0m x 3.0m, each with insulated wall and roof panels, floor, ceiling, doors, windows, ventilation, electrical installation and internal finishes. Around them: 90 square metres of concrete foundation slab including excavation, hardcore, compaction, reinforcement and formwork; 75 square metres of internal partitions to sleep four workers per cabin; 10 steel security doors with locks; 10 aluminium or steel windows with burglar bars, glazing and insect screens; 50 lighting points, switches and socket outlets; 25 LED fittings; and five distribution boards with cabling, protection devices and earthing.
