Private Voluntary Organisations (Registration) Fees Regulations, 2025
Registering a private voluntary organisation now costs US$250 for an international PVO and US$150 for a local one, payable at the prevailing bank rate.
The Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare has, under section 28 of the Private Voluntary Organisations Act, set the registration fees for PVOs.
An international private voluntary organisation pays US$250 to register. A local private voluntary organisation pays US$150, payable at the prevailing bank rate.
The fees follow the Private Voluntary Organisations Amendment Act, 2025 (Act 1 of 2025), which overhauled the registration regime for NGOs and community organisations earlier in the year, and they apply to the registration step itself rather than to any subsequent compliance obligation.
Organisations budgeting for registration should note that the instrument sets only these two figures and prescribes no separate application, renewal or amendment fee.
