Public Notice 33 of 2026 Returns and Payments June 2026-Due Date 5
ZIMRA: monthly returns for PAYE, withholding taxes, mining royalties, presumptive tax and other taxes for May 2026 are due by 5 June 2026, with payment by 10 June 2026.
ZIMRA reminds taxpayers that monthly returns for the month ending 31 May 2026 are due on or before 5 June 2026, with payments due on or before 10 June 2026, under S.I. 81 of 2025.
The dates apply to PAYE, withholding taxes, mining royalties, value chain withholding tax, presumptive tax, gaming operators' tax, fast foods tax, plastic carrier bag tax, the levy on specified minerals, the tobacco levy and presumptive tax on rental income.
Returns are filed online through the TaRMS self-service portal (mytaxselfservice.zimra.co.zw), except gaming operators' tax and presumptive tax on rental income returns, which are submitted manually at ZIMRA offices using forms from the ZIMRA website. Employers must file the long PAYE return in TaRMS, as required by Public Notice 5 of 2025. Mining royalties are payable in cash and in kind and declared on the withholding taxes return.
Payments go into the ZIMRA bank account by cash deposit or bank transfer, quoting the taxpayer's name and TIN, which the bank validates; the tax obligation being settled need not be stated. A payment is only posted to the taxpayer's ledger once the matching return is filed, and without the return the tax clearance certificate will not be issued automatically. Outstanding returns and arrears should be cleared to avoid penalties, prosecution or legal action.
This notice was published on 4 June 2026.
