Removal of Deceased Persons From Voters Roll
ZEC says voters listed in its First Schedule are believed to have died and will be removed from the voters roll unless an objection is lodged within seven days of publication.
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has published a First Schedule of registered voters whom voter registration officers believe have died. Their names will be removed from the voters roll unless notice of appeal is given to the Commission.
Any voter on the list who is alive may object to their inclusion, using the form in the Second Schedule, no later than seven days after the notice was published. Objections are lodged at ZEC, Mahachi Quantum, 1 Nelson Mandela Avenue, corner Kaguvi Street and Jason Moyo Avenue, Harare, or at the Commission's provincial offices.
The notice is dated 28 March 2025 and signed by the Acting Chief Elections Officer. The schedule of names is not reproduced in this summary.
